Dauntless is a powerful ecosystem that supports fractional leaders, non-exec directors and freelancers. You're not just on your own, you are part of an elite community. We provide the brand, the vetted client pipeline, and the operational backbone. This lets you focus purely on high-impact work, while we handle lead generation, sales, client contracts, and admin. It's a de-risked entrepreneurship model, giving you the freedom of a portfolio career with the backing of an established firm.

You are free to maintain your own client relationships; we only ask that you do not directly solicit or engage clients that we introduce you to.

Our clients come to us through targeted networking that speaks to ambitious startups and scale-ups ready to invest in elite GTM leadership. We pre-qualify them based on their stage, budget, and strategic needs before any introduction. You'll only speak to leaders who are already sold on the value of fractional leadership and are ready to engage. We do not guarantee any engagements through the Dauntless platform.

We act as your commercial partner. Dauntless manages all client contracts, invoicing, and payment collection. We provide a central point of contact for the client on commercial matters.

If your application is approved, you will be able to access your members area with the login details you provide during application. Here you can mange all the information we hold on you. You will be able to create, publish and manage your website profile as well as contact other Difference Makers via the group forum or email.

The Dauntless Vault (Coming January, 2026) is an asset portal for paying members. It contains playbooks, templates, methodologies and operating manuals covering multiple domains of GTM operational expertise (e.g Marketing, Sales, Service etc). As a Difference Maker you will have FREE access to the entire vault. You are permitted to use any of the assets if you so wish in your Dauntless client engagements. The commercial use or distribution of these branded assets outside of Dauntless client engagements is prohibited. The re-sell of these assets is also prohibited

We endeavour to ensure all our engagements are strategic and long-term. Typical contracts are a 12-month minimum, with monthly retainers starting at £3,500 (for approximately 1 day/week). This isn't short-term consulting; it's about embedding deeply to drive transformational growth, which provides you with stable, predictable income.

Our model is transparent and aligned. For standard fractional leadership, we charge the client an onboarding fee (which we retain) and a monthly retainer. From that retainer, you receive 85%, paid reliably each month.

You will have a direct, overarching Master Services Agreement (MSA) with Dauntless, which establishes you as an independent contractor and defines the core terms of our partnership, including confidentiality, intellectual property, and the standard 85/15 commercial model. For each specific client engagement, we then issue a customized Statement of Work (SOW). This SOW details the exact scope, deliverables, duration, time commitment, and specific commercial terms (e.g., standard retainer, team subscription, or investment partnership) for that particular assignment. This streamlined structure provides you with the security of a single governing agreement while ensuring every unique engagement is clearly defined, protecting all parties and providing absolute clarity on what is to be delivered. Your focus remains on execution, while we manage the commercial and contractual framework.

We treat our partnerships with integrity. Every 12 month contract has a 6 month review period/break clause where a client can choose to pause or exit the agreement. If a serious issue arises, we have a clear process for mediation and, if necessary, a professional off-boarding. Our 90-day notice period built into contracts provides a structured exit for all parties, protecting your time and reputation.

The process is designed to be as rigorous as it is for our clients. It involves an initial application, a review of your track record, and interviews with our team to ensure mutual fit. We protect the quality and reputation of our collective by being highly selective, ensuring every member is someone the others are proud to work alongside.

At Dauntless we are always open to investing into the right people and their business. As a Difference Maker, this may present the opportunity for you to invest your own capital alongside a fractional leader, board member or non-exec director role. We handle the upfront due diligence to source these qualified opportunities and present a detailed investment pack to you based on the type of businesses and roles you are interested in investing in. If a mutually beneficial investment opportunity arises, you invest 90% of your total capital directly with the client. The remaining 10% of your total capital is passed directly to Dauntless. This is to cover the cost of acquisition and extensive due diligence process. Dauntless then re-invests that 10% into the same client ensuring they receive the full amount. This means you maintain the vast majority of the upside while we share in the risk and demonstrate our commitment alongside you. Investements can start from as little as £10,000
